On this site, I will try to share my firsthand experience regarding the different characteristics between these two Porsches that I own. It is hard to compare the 944 to the 911 series models because one is an entry level GT car with a power rating of 143 HP at 6100RPM, while the other is a purist's sportscar with a power rating of 250 HP at 6800 rpm. Each vehicle is equiped differently and have different handling characteristics..
